Opened in 2003, Vihuela Winery is located in the rolling hills of the Central Coast in the Paso Robles appellation. It produces full-bodied red wines that reflect the spicy, complex, emotional character of the winery’s namesake: the Vihuela, a Spanish Renaissance guitar. 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles Blended from the finest grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah) grown on the eastside of Templeton and aged in oak for more than 18 months. 400 cases. Double Gold, Best in Class, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition 2005 Conceierto del Rojo Paso Robles This “concert of red” is a blend of Syrah, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Fruit forward and great for drinking any time. 700 cases. 2004 Syrah Paso Robles A fusion of Paso Robles fruit with European style. Dense, dark cherries on the palate with some dusty notes. Firm body and bold finish. |
